The MTM Hydro 3/8" Plated Steel Quick Connect Plug x 3/8" FPT delivers a fast, reliable, and economical solution for high-pressure quick-connect joints. Built for durability and ease of use, this fitting allows quick installation while maintaining a secure seal under demanding operating conditions.
As a general rule, MTM Hydro 3/8" fittings are most commonly used between the pump and spray gun, where 3/8" hose is standard. This model features internal female threads (FPT), while male versions have exposed threads—refer to product images for identification.
All MTM Hydro plated steel plugs are manufactured with National Pipe Thread (NPT), utilizing a tapered thread design that seals through controlled thread interference.
Installation Notes:

Use 4-5 wraps of Teflon tape (clockwise) or 2-3 drops of Loctite thread sealant -
NPT to BSP (or BSP to NPT):
